there are two ways you can apply for a northern rock mortgage

Use our mortgage selector to choose your product, then call us on 0845 60 50 500 for a Key Facts Illustration and application form. It should arrive within three working days. Then complete it and return it to us by post.

Phone or visit your nearest branch for a mortgage interview during which you’ll be given a Key Facts Illustration and application form.
You will be able to complete your application form during the interview or return it direct to your branch by post.
what you’ll need
Before you start filling in your application be sure you’ve got the following things together. It will make the whole process much smoother.
- Your credit/debit cards details
- Account numbers of any northern rock accounts you hold
- Details of your outgoings (eg. Utility bills, loans, monthly bills)
- Your employment details, including your Tax Office name and tax reference number
- Any self employment details including your National Insurance number
- Details of any investment products you intend to use to repay the mortgage
- Your bank/building society details for your direct debit to pay the mortgage if it is approved.
You may want to stop half way through your application or need to come back to it if your needs change. For your convenience, you can save your application in progress at any time for up to a maximum of 90 days.
